Present Day Shocking Events: Part 1 of 2

Preview: Many of the prophecies from the Bible are coming true today. This is the first part of a two-part lesson on this subject.

Note: The ancient prophets of the Lord prophesied of the end of time. They foretold our modern methods of travel in the land, sea, and in the air. The prophet Joel and the Revelation of Jesus Christ unto John presents a clear picture of our modern warfare by tanks, and flame-destruction by mighty armies. The prophet Habakkuk trembled when he looked down the corridor of time to our days and prayed that he might be at rest in that day of trouble. 
3. How did Paul describe the moral condition of the world in the last days? II Timothy 3:1-4. 
4. What was the warning the Apostle Peter gave the Church of scoffers in the last days? II Peter 3:3-4. 
5. What shocking events do we see today that were predicted by Christ? Luke 21:25. 
6. What was Jesus's prophecy of trouble among the nations in the last days? Luke 21:9-10. 
Note: It has been said that this earth has enjoyed only 200 years of peace since creation. The wickedness of men has created this condition. We have wars because men desire, lust, and kill to obtain that which belongs to others.
